Foreign Supermarkets
Just returned from a lovely week in the North East of Italy with the family. Holidays are certainly different once you have kids though, I didn’t realise quite how ambitious it was to take as many books as usual.
Whenever I’m in a new country I like to wander to check out a local supermarket. As well as checking out the local delicacies I like to to see the juxtaposition of familiar brands and products with unusual or new stuff - there were some belters in the shop just around the corner from where we stayed, first up a couple of types of baby food that make me a little squeamish as an Englishman…
and my personal favourite, and let’s be sure about the fact that this is definitely not baby food (i think).
